Job summary

Kokosing is seeking certified Welders in Baltimore, MD and Hopewell, VA. Fabricate, join, and repair equipment and structures using MIG, TIG, and other welding methods, with proper fall protection and tool use.

Must have AWS D1.1 certification; D1.5 preferred for bridge work. Valid driver's license (Class B CDL preferred). TWIC and marine credentials are a plus. Competitive hourly pay and benefits available.

Qualifications

• AWS D1.1 certification required or able to obtain.
• D1.5 certification preferred for bridge work.
• Driver's license with clean driving record; Class B CDL preferred.
• TWIC credential preferred; Merchant Marine and AB Seaman credentials preferred.

Responsibilities

• Fabricates, joins, and repairs equipment, fixtures, and structures using oxygen-acetylene, electric arc, MIG and TIG welding techniques.
• Work while tied off to fall protection.
• Operate drill presses, power saws, grinders, lathes and welding equipment.
• Analyze plans, drawings, work samples, specifications, and work orders to determine work requirements.
