Qualifications

• MS in Marine Science or related field; or BS with two years' relevant experience.
• Proficiency in word processing, databases, statistics, and graphics.
• Knowledge of reef fish sampling protocols and field SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Survey watch stander at sea, equipment prep and post survey inventory.
• Annotate video data and identify fishes across life stages per SOPs.
• Data entry, QA/QC, and managing outputs for post-processing.
• Assist with data analysis, reports, and basic graphing.
• Participate in outreach and education activities with NOAA teams.
