Qualifications

• BS Degree in Marine Science or related field; volunteer experience valued.
• Proficient with word processing, databases, statistics, and reporting.
• Knowledge of reef taxa identification and endangered species awareness.
• Willingness to undergo background investigations and health screenings.

Responsibilities

• Survey duties at sea: operate cameras, CTD, equipment prep and log data.
• Laboratory duties: annotate video data and QA/QC processes.
• Data management: data entry, QA/QC, and future AI/ML tool use.
• Outreach: public education efforts and science outreach activities.
