Job summary

IMIA, LLC is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to monitor quality control and assurance for marine preservation projects, including Navy vessels. The role requires a High School diploma, NACE/SSPC NBPI certification, and familiarity with preservation standards.

You will develop and maintain test plans, document readings, and work with on-site teams to ensure compliance with contract specifications. Travel and on-site work are common.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Maritime paintings standards with emphasis on US Navy ship preservation criterion.
• Ability to produce QA documentation and manage inspection records.
• Ability to read and interpret Navy regulations and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Monitor quality control/assurance per Navy regulations and contract requirements.
• Collaborate with customer QA personnel on required aspects of the job.
• Produce and maintain QA documentation and Inspection Plans.
