Job summary

IMIA, LLC is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to monitor quality control and assurance aboard preserved vessels, following Navy regulations and industry standards. You will collaborate with customer QA personnel to ensure compliance and continuous quality improvement.

On-site work in California requires strong documentation, calibration discipline, and adherence to safety protocols. A high school diploma and relevant certifications are preferred, with excellent attention to detail and

Qualifications

• Marine industry experience preferred.
• NACE Inspector and/or SSPC NBPI certification required.
• Knowledge of Navy coating standards and SSPC/NACE guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Produce and maintain QA documentation as objective evidence for preservation work.
• Develop and maintain the Test and Inspection Plan (TIP) for assigned jobs.
• Monitor readings (DFT, temperatures) with calibrated equipment and ensure calibration intervals are kept.
