Job summary

ARMADA INC. is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to conduct inspections and tests, document results, and determine if work meets prescribed standards.

The role requires reading blueprints, precision instruments, and maintaining accurate records in accordance with the Quality Management System. The inspector will evaluate test results, ensure proper materials and procedures, and coordinate with the Quality Control Supervisor.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections and tests, documenting results per inspection instructions and QMS.
• Assess materials and workmanship in process to ensure compliance with contract specs.
• Evaluate test results and decide accept/reject or rework.
• Research contract/shipbuilding specs and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance.
• Develop and maintain Test and Inspection Plan (TIP) for assigned jobs.
• Ensure equipment calibration is current and maintained.
