Job summary

Boston Harbor Shipyard and Marina seeks a year-round Marine Travel Lift Operator to join its growing team. You will be responsible for hauling, launching, and handling boats using hydraulic boat trailers, forklifts, yard cranes, and Marine Travel Lifts.

Qualifications

• Previous experience hauling and handling boats.
• Valid Massachusetts Hoisting Engineer License, Class 3A.
• Experience operating Marine Travel Lifts and other boat-handling equipment.
• Able to safely perform physically demanding work.
• Reliable, safety-conscious and comfortable working outdoors year-round.

Responsibilities

• Operate hydraulic boat trailers, forklifts, yard cranes and Marine Travel Lifts.
• Haul, launch, and handle boats as part of yard operations.
• Perform heavy lifting and physical tasks safely and efficiently.
• Maintain high awareness of surroundings and safe work practices in all weather.

Boston Harbor Shipyard and Marina is seeking a year-round Marine Travel Lift Operator.

We are seeking someone with experience hauling, launching, and handling boats. Primary responsibilities include operating boat-handling equipment such as hydraulic boat trailers, forklifts, yard cranes, and Marine Travel Lifts.

Candidates must be able to perform heavy lifting, climbing, carrying, and other physical tasks associated with boatyard operations. A strong awareness of surroundings and consistent safe work practices are required at all times.

Requirements:

• Previous experience hauling and handling boats
• Valid Massachusetts Hoisting Engineer License, Class 3A
• Experience operating Marine Travel Lifts and other boat-handling equipment
• Ability to safely perform physically demanding work
