Job summary

Godfrey Marine, a division of Polaris, is expanding its Elkhart welding team. As an MIG or TIG Welding Associate, you will contribute to building high‑quality pontoon and deck boats, using TIG welding skills and blueprints.

We offer robust benefits and training, and value a strong work ethic and attitude. Prior marine or manufacturing experience helps, but training is provided to capable newcomers ready to learn the trade.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of TIG welding; at least 1 year experience.
• Able to read blueprints and a tape measure efficiently.
• Know where to put lift eye flanges for different diameter tubes.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on welding to craft pontoon and deck boats from the ground up.
• Operate TIG welding equipment with precision and consistency.
• Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to ensure correct welds.
