Minnesota Inboard is seeking a Marine Technician to join our family‑oriented shop in Brainerd, MN. You will perform diagnostics and repairs on marine systems and engines, collaborate with colleagues, and uphold safety and quality standards while delivering excellent guest service.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years as Marine Shop Technician or similar role.
  • Extensive knowledge of marine systems, engines, and components.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in the marine industry.
  • Desire to serve others.
  • Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes.
  • Technical certification or relevant degree in marine mechanics is preferred.

  • Perform a wide range of marine repairs, which could include diagnostics, complex repairs, and electrical work.

Physical Requirements:
  • Occasionally lift and/or move over 100 pounds
  • Be able to work with tools on boats lifted above your head
  • Work in tight spaces as dictated by the boats needed repair
  • Have the needed dexterity to efficiently use hand tools
  • Walk/stand for most of the workday

Starting Pay Range: $20-$25 depending on experience plus potential to earn billing bonus
