Job summary

Bridge Marina, Inc. in Lake Hopatcong seeks a Marine Technician to repair and maintain boats for service guests and our fleet. You will join our Service Department and work with existing technicians to ensure safe, enjoyable boating experiences.

The role requires at least two years of technician experience, strong mechanical skills, a valid NJ Boating certificate, and the ability to work outdoors in seasonal weather. Training and advancement opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Two-years professional technician experience; independent work ability.
• Marine/boat service experience preferred.
• Thorough mechanical and technical skills and awareness.
• Valid driver’s license; able to pass background/drug screen.
• NJ Boating certificate and boating experience.

Responsibilities

• Skilled mechanical work to remove/replace parts and perform mid-level maintenance.
• Diagnose and repair 12v electrical, fuel, ignition, and drive-train systems.
• Basic maintenance including oil changes and fluid exchanges.
• Move/haul/launch/trailering of boats and supervise others as needed.
• Adhere to safety policies and maintain work area and tools.
