Job summary

Canal Barge Company is seeking experienced Shore Tankermen in Houston, TX to oversee safe liquid cargo transfers and minor barge maintenance. Ideal candidates are safety-focused, physically fit, and hold all required marine certifications.

Qualifications include 5–10 years of Shore Tankerman experience, a valid PIC/DL endorsement, TWIC, and a Houston-area residence. Must pass background checks and a respirator-fit physical. Heater/boiler experience is a plus.

• 2nd Issue of License
• Valid U.S. Merchant Mariner’s endorsement as a PIC/DL
• Current, valid TWIC
• Valid Driver’s License
• High school diploma or equivalency
• Ability to pass a background check
• Ability to pass a physical (including respirator fit test and clean-shaven requirement)
• Must live in the Houston area
• Heater/Boiler experience
