Description

As a Marine Systems Installer, you’ll install electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems that are essential to the safety, comfort, and reliability of every Hinckley yacht. The ideal candidate has a solid foundation in marine systems, with the ability to troubleshoot issues with confidence. If you take pride in precision and craftsmanship, we invite you to join our world‑class team.

Responsibilities
  • Install electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems, including wiring, fixtures, engines, pumps, ventilation, and plumbing components. Ensure all installations are watertight.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics. Measure, cut, and strip wire; connect wiring to terminals using appropriate tools.
  • Use test equipment—ohmmeters, voltmeters—to test electrical systems for voltage, resistance, and phase angle. Troubleshoot issues as needed.
  • Follow prescribed safety rules and regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Assist in the installation of engine mount rails, intake and discharge fittings for plumbing and engine cooling. Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • At least one (1) year of relevant experience in marine systems installation or a related trade (e.g., electrical, plumbing, mechanical).
  • Physical capability to lift and carry over 25 lbs., and up to 60 lbs.
  • Vocational technical school degree or certification (preferred). Must hold a valid driver’s license.
  • All applicants must successfully pass a background check as a condition of employment.
