Job summary

Propulsion Controls Engineering in Everett, WA is seeking a Structural Welder Journeyman II with at least five years of marine/shipyard experience. The role involves reading blueprints, laying out base metals, and performing SMAW, FCAW, GTAW or brazing to fabricate assemblies.

Ideal candidates will have an associate degree or technical certification and must meet security requirements to access government or military sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of marine and/or shipyard experience.
• Associates Degree or Technical Certification preferred.
• Must be able to obtain base access clearance per government requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lay out and prepare base metals using air and power tools.
• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings; fabricate and template new assemblies.
