BIG THUNDER MARINE in Washington, NC, is seeking Full-Time Service Technicians who are passionate about working on luxurious high-powered boats. You will diagnose and repair engines and watercraft, ensuring they are in optimal condition.
The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of marine service experience and is prepared for a demanding yet rewarding work environment with opportunities for skill development and growth. This role includes maintenance, repairs, and safety inspections of marine watercraft and offers a range of employee benefits.

Job Status: Full‑Time
FLSA Status: Hourly, Non‑Exempt
Salary: Pay commensurate with experience.
Education: High School Diploma or GED is required.
Experience: 2–4 years’ marine service experience; experience with current brands a plus.
Computer Skills: General computer skills required, will train on specific systems.
Certifications & Licenses: Must possess, or have the ability to obtain, a Class E driver’s and boaters license. Marine Technician Certification from a reputable institution or manufacturer a plus.
Typical shop environment with moderate noise and exposure to heat and cold. Outdoor and marine environment may contain uneven and slippery surfaces. Noise level may increase substantially upon interaction with watercraft.
