OneWater Marine is seeking a Service Manager to lead the service department at South Shore Marine in Huron, OH. This full-time role emphasizes daily operations, profitability, and delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in service operations with supervisory experience.
• Marine industry experience preferred; related industries considered.
• High school diploma or GED required; technical certification/associate degree a plus.
• OEM certifications preferred; valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of service technicians, writers, and support staff.
• Create detailed repair orders using Complaint, Cause & Correction and provide timely estimates.
• Schedule service work and process retail, warranty and internal repairs efficiently.
• Communicate with customers to inform them of status and completion of repairs.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers and manufacturers to strengthen loyalty and referrals.
• Coach and train service staff to maintain high technical and customer service standards.
• Monitor profitability, labor efficiency, pricing, invoicing, and drive process improvements.
• Recruit, hire, and, when necessary, terminate service personnel.
• Serve as primary escalation point for customer concerns and ensure satisfaction.
