CORE Group seeks a skilled Service Engineer to lead technical and field service operations for marine electrical and mechanical systems. This role focuses on installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance, ensuring safety and reliability across our projects.

The ideal candidate has a college degree or equivalent, 5+ years in marine field service, proficiency with LV electrical systems, PLC logic, and reading P&ID drawings. Strong English skills and willingness to travel are essential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical experience.
  • Minimum 5 years in field service or technical roles in marine industry.
  • Proficiency in LV electrical installations and control systems troubleshooting.
  • Ability to read P&ID diagrams, general arrangements, and electrical drawings.
  • Strong health and safety awareness.
  • Excellent English communication, both spoken and written.
  • Experience with ERP or similar database systems.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented with analytical and planning skills.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Perform technical service, installation, and troubleshooting of electrical, control, and mechanical systems in marine environments.
  • Read and interpret P&ID diagrams, general arrangements, and electrical drawings to diagnose issues and implement solutions.
  • Conduct maintenance and inspections to ensure system integrity and safety standards.
  • Support improvements in service processes, safety procedures, and technical documentation.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to deliver technical support and service solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records of service activities, technical documentation, and inspection reports.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards.
