Job summary

inQA.labs is seeking a hands-on Rigging Boat Technician to help bring our Rigid Inflatable boats to life—fabricating hulls, consoles, and propulsion components. You will install seating, T-tops, steering, and electronics, and prepare fiberglass and aluminum materials for assembly.

Ideal candidates have experience in marine assembly within a manufacturing setting and a positive, team-focused attitude. ABYC certification or fiberglass/sheet metal experience is a plus, with a steady day shift and

Responsibilities

  • Fabricate and assemble hulls and consoles.
  • Install consoles, seating, T-tops, steering, electronics, and propulsion systems.
  • Prepare fiberglass and aluminum materials (cutting, drilling, etc.).
  • Ensure projects are completed on time and meet quality standards.
  • Assist with shop maintenance, sea trials, and inventory as needed.

About the Role

We’re looking for a hands‑on Rigging Boat Technician to join our team! In this role, you’ll help bring our Rigid Inflatable boats to life — from fabricating and assembling hulls and consoles to installing superstructures like seating, T‑tops, and propulsion systems. If you enjoy working with your hands, take pride in precision, and want to be part of building something people love, this could be the perfect fit.

What You’ll Do
  • Fabricate and assemble hulls and consoles
  • Install consoles, seating, T‑tops, steering, electronics, and propulsion systems
  • Prepare fiberglass and aluminum materials (cutting, drilling, etc.)
  • Make sure projects are completed on time and meet quality standards
  • Pitch in with shop maintenance, sea trials, and job inventory when needed
What We’re Looking For
  • Team player with a positive attitude
  • Experience in marine assembly and working in a manufacturing environment
  • Bonus points if you’re ABYC certified, have worked with fiberglass/sheet metal, or have prior team‑based manufacturing experience
