Position Overview

We are currently hiring experienced Fabricators to assemble boat structures and components. This role requires precision, skill, and a strong understanding of welding techniques specific to aluminum. If you're detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and take pride in your work, we'd love to hear from you.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, engineering drawings, and specifications.
  • Measure, cut, shape, drill, and prepare aluminum, steel, fiberglass, or other materials according to production requirements.
  • Fabricate boat components, including frames, decks, rail systems, consoles, brackets, flooring supports, and other structural assemblies.
  • Assemble fabricated components using welding, fastening, riveting, adhesives, or other approved manufacturing methods.
  • Verify dimensions and tolerances using measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, squares, and gauges.
  • Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with quality standards and engineering specifications.
  • Identify and report defects, material shortages, or production concerns to supervisors.
  • Operate fabrication equipment safely, including saws, presses, grinders, drill presses, shears, and other hand and power tools.
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of tools and equipment.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with company safety policies and OSHA requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with welders, assemblers, quality technicians, engineering, and production leadership to meet daily production goals.
  • Assist with continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and workflow.
  • Follow all company policies, standard operating procedures, and safety regulations.
  • Crosstrain and perform other manufacturing duties as assigned to support production needs.
EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION and QUALIFICATIONS
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a Fabricator, preferably in a boat manufacturing or marine environment.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols.
  • Strong knowledge of various fabricating techniques, processes, and equipment for aluminum.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem solving skills.
  • Good manual dexterity and physical stamina.
  • Strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and take direction.
