Join Our Team as a Sailboat Rigger!

We are excited to invite a skilled sailboat rigger to join our dynamic team at a premier full-service boatyard. In this vital role, you will have the opportunity to inspect and repair the rigging on a diverse range of boats, ensuring they are seaworthy and ready for adventure.

As part of our team, you will engage in key repair and maintenance tasks that are critical to our mission. You will expertly identify issues in both standing and running rigging, implementing effective solutions. Additionally, your work will involve handling mast electronics and various other essential boating components.

Responsibilities:
  1. Assist in the unstepping and stepping of masts
  2. De-rig and rig masts with precision
  3. Install and test electrical components in masts
  4. Perform various repair and maintenance tasks as required
  5. Address clients' queries related to boat maintenance
  6. Repair faulty or malfunctioning rigging components
  7. Maintain accurate service records and repair documentation
  8. Cultivate high levels of customer satisfaction to encourage repeat business
Qualifications:
  1. High school diploma or equivalent
  2. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, but we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.
