Qualifications

  • 3+ years servicing marine diesel engines, generators, propulsion systems, or related power systems.
  • Must be able to multitask.
  • Assist parts department in researching and ordering needed parts.
  • Strong computer skills; knowledge of SisWeb and ET.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose repair needs and perform repairs on marine propulsion engines, auxiliary engines, generators, and related vessel systems as directed.
  • Troubleshoot issues and notify Service Manager of outstanding issues.
  • Complete tasks with limited supervision and adhere to Foley safety policies.
  • Install, replace, rebuild, or repair parts and equipment per specifications.
  • Respond to after-hour emergency calls as directed by supervisor.
  • Test part or equipment and perform quality checks after work is complete.
