Job summary

IMIA, LLC is seeking an Estimator to forecast labor and material costs for projects by analyzing specifications, pricing schedules, and historical data. You will gather details, review blueprints, and consider materials, labor, equipment, and transportation to prepare cost estimates.

The role requires evaluating resources, assisting with cost reductions, and performing related duties as needed. The position is full-time and on-site at office/shipyard locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in the field or related area is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Gather details and compile data to estimate production costs.
• Review blueprints, specifications, proposals to formulate cost estimates.
• Consider raw materials, labor, equipment, tools, and transportation.
• Help determine resources for projects based on cost estimates and budgets.
• Review estimates and analyze standards for cost reductions.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
