Job summary

Responsibilities

• Set up work areas and prepare barges for fabrication and production activities.
• Assemble, relocate, and dismantle scaffolding and platforms following safety rules.
• Move welding machines, tools, leads, hoses and other equipment around the facility.
• Operate grinders and hand/power tools to remove slag, burrs, and surface imperfections.
• Prepare steel materials and components for welding, painting, and assembly.
• Assist welders and fitters with alignment and assembly tasks as needed.
• Deliver materials, tools, and supplies to production personnel as required.
• Support daily manufacturing activities and maintain safe work areas.
