NABRICO Marine Products in Ashland City, TN is seeking a safety-focused Structural Welder/Fitter to lay out, align, and assemble fabricated steel components for inland barges. Working from blueprints, you will prepare structural assemblies for welding while ensuring quality and safety.

You will perform tack welding, oxy-fuel cutting, and inspections, with opportunities for career advancement in a stable, growing manufacturing operation.

Competenze

• Minimum of 1 year of fitting, fabrication, or shipbuilding experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings and fabrication specs.
• Must complete respirator fit testing and maintain facial hair compliance for respirator use.
• Basic math including fractions and measurements.

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and fabrication specs.
• Lay out, position, align, fit, and assemble structural steel components per specs.
• Measure and verify dimensions for proper fit-up.
• Operate oxy-fuel cutting equipment for material prep.
• Perform tack welding to secure components before final welds.
• Identify and organize parts in proper sequence for assembly.
• Operate overhead cranes and material handling equipment.
• Inspect assemblies for quality and dimensional compliance.
