Job summary

Brunswick Corporation is hiring for a Pre Fab role at Boston Whaler in Edgewater, FL. You will read blueprints and BOMs, cut materials like fiberglass and wood, and assemble kits for lamination as part of the production team.

The role requires attention to detail, safety discipline, and ability to work with various saws and tools on a non-climate controlled shop floor. Overtime may be required; 5am-3:30pm shifts on Tue-Fri.

Qualifications

• Must follow safety and quality standards including PPE
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to challenges
• Detail-oriented with focus on precision and quality
• Proactive team player who is self-starter with attention to improvement
• Strong mechanical experience reading blueprints preferred
• Basic forklift/hoist and computer skills preferred
• Ability to follow verbal and written directions
• Ability to work with others in close proximity and in a team environment

Responsibilities

• Uses machines and saws to cut fiberglass, wood and bulk materials for boat lines
• Cuts materials to specifications and assembles kits for lamination
• Operates and maintains Jig, Band and Table Saws
• Operates routers, grinders and electric shears
• Reads Bills of Material to assemble kits
• Follows daily production schedule to complete tasks
• Recordkeeping and housekeeping; ensure safety standards
• May perform other duties as needed
