Job summary

Brunswick Boat Group is seeking a skilled pre-fab technician to cut kits from fiberglass, wood and bulk materials for boat lines. Read blueprints, schematics and bills of material to assemble essential kits for lamination and assembly in a fast-paced production environment.

The role requires high attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work with forklifts and shop tools. Shift is onsite in Boston Whaler operations with safety and quality as top priorities.

Qualifications

• Must follow all safety and quality standards, including PPE.
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to unexpected challenges.
• Detail-oriented with focus on precision and quality.
• Ability to read and follow verbal and written directions.
• Familiarity with modern warehousing practices.

Responsibilities

• Uses a variety of machines and saws to cut fiberglass, wood and bulk materials for boat lines.
• Cuts materials to proper specifications and assembles materials into kits for various boat lines.
• Operates and maintains various saws including Jig, Band and Table Saws.
• Operates and maintains routers, grinders and electric shears.
• Reads Bills of Material to properly assemble kits.
• Follows daily production schedule to complete in a timely manner.
• Recordkeeping and housekeeping.
• Maintains safety in all tasks.
