Job summary

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of marine pipe welding experience is preferred.
• Able to pass a marine pipe welding test.
• Able to read blueprints and isometric drawings.
• Knowledge of marine piping systems and welding codes.

Responsibilities

• Weld pipe systems using approved marine welding procedures.
• Perform GTAW (TIG), SMAW (Stick), FCAW, and/or GMAW (MIG) welding as required.
• Weld carbon steel, stainless steel, copper nickel, and aluminum piping.
• Read and interpret blueprints, isometrics, and work packages.
• Ensure welds meet quality standards and pass inspections.
• Follow shipyard safety policies and work in confined spaces and aboard vessels.
