Job summary

OneWater Marine Milford store is seeking a Parts & Accessories Specialist to help customers select correct parts and accessories for boats, ensuring product knowledge, pricing, and a high-quality shopping experience. You will close sales with accurate paperwork and suggest complementary items.

Responsibilities include maintaining inventory, displaying products professionally, processing orders, and resolving customer inquiries.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of marine parts, accessories, and equipment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills with ability to resolve customer inquiries.
• Ability to achieve or exceed revenue and profit goals.
• Basic computer knowledge/ skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a team member.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in identifying the correct parts and accessories for their boats, ensuring they are informed about product features, compatibility and pricing.
• Finalize transactions by properly closing each sale with accurate paperwork, including using suggestive selling of accessories that benefit the customer.
• Maintain inventory of parts and accessories to ensure accuracy, control shrinkage, and obsolescence.
• Maintain neat and orderly displays, with accessories and supplies well merchandised to present a professional appearance to help increase sales.
• Process customer orders accurately, track order status, and ensure timely delivery or pickup of products.
• Maintain accurate records of orders and sales.
• Resolve customer complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
• Analyzes operations and finds ways to increase efficiency, sales and profitability of the parts department.
• Stay informed about products, industry trends, and innovations in marine parts and accessories.
• Support store in the execution of successful boat shows, store and off-site sales/customer events, including accessory sales as appropriate.
• Any other duties as assigned.
