Leidos Gibbs & Cox currently has an opening for a Mid-Level Marine Mechanical Engineer to support the USCG Ship Design Team (CG-459). The mission of CG-459 is to provide complete lifecycle management of floating assets from concept design through delivery and sea trials. This position provides you the opportunity to contribute to the design and construction of new USCG acquisitions, including small boats, cutters, and icebreakers, directly alongside Coast Guard personnel. This position focuses on the development and review of propulsion system designs for USCG assets.
Prefer candidates to be local to Washington, DC to enable onsite work at USCG Headquarters, 2 to 3 days per week. However, fully remote candidates will be considered.

Pay Range $67,600.00 - $122,200.00
