Job summary

GB Marine Group is seeking a full-time Marine Mechanic at our Florida location. The role focuses on diagnosing and repairing Volvo engines, IPS drives, and Fischer Panda generators, with a strong emphasis on troubleshooting and service expertise.

Applicants should have hands-on experience with marine systems and be able to diagnose mechanical issues, perform inspections, and communicate effectively with customers and staff in a busy environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of marine mechanical experience.
• Knowledge of AC and DC wiring on vessels a plus.
• Knowledge of using the appropriate tools and equipment to complete the required tasks safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, service & repair Volvo Engines, Volvo IPS Drives and Fischer Panda Generators.
• Utilize Vodia to diagnose Volvo Systems.
• Diagnose & repair DC Systems.
• Diagnose & repair Raw Water-Cooling Systems.
• Perform designated inspections, maintenance and repair of marine vessels.
• Diagnose mechanical problems and determine necessary repairs.

Job Summary

Grand Banks Yachts Services Marine Mechanic should be familiar with Volvo Penta Engines, Volvo IPS Drives, Twin Disc Transmissions, Fischer Panda Generators and related software. Applicants should have troubleshooting and diagnostic experience as well as service and repair expertise.

Schedule

Monday through Friday

• 8-hour shift
• Overtime as needed
• Weekends as needed rarely
