Job summary

Textron Systems is seeking a 2027 Intern – Logistics Analyst (Marine) in New Orleans, LA. You will support continuous improvement initiatives across warehouse and logistics teams, map workflows, and propose value-added changes.

The role emphasizes data analysis, problem-solving, and the ability to obtain security clearance, with hands-on mentorship and real project experience in a global defense contractor environment.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or have completed a bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain or a related field.
• Knowledge of statistical techniques and applications.
• Ability to organize and prioritize assigned tasks.
• Effective written and oral communication skills, good interpersonal skills.
• Ability to obtain Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Continuous Improvement activities in warehouse, logistics and expeditor departments.
• Identify and improve organizational processes to increase efficiency, productivity and safety.
• Map workflows, identify waste and low-value activities, and recommend solutions for simple and complex problems.
• Analyze existing processes using Rapid Problem-Solving techniques and PDCA/Kaizen approaches.
• Contribute to completion of specific technical tasks and milestones for projects.
• Provide clear improvement plans associated with projects.
