Job summary

Textron Systems in New Orleans is offering a 10-week intern position as Production Planner (Marine). You will gain hands-on experience by supporting production scheduling, learning to plan and align daily activities with project goals, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

The internship provides mentorship, real project work, and exposure to earned value and reporting processes. Applicants should be pursuing or have completed a bachelor's degree and be able to obtain a security

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or have completed a bachelor’s degree.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance.
• Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and manage multiple priorities efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Generate metrics, analyze metric output and build business object reports.
• Assist in planning, reviewing and maintaining production schedule, to include supporting and facilitating production teams to meet daily production requirements.
• Evaluate and review production output to provide management with daily analysis and reporting of production status.
• Analyze production performance data and prepare earned value reports for the Integrated Master Schedule and Finance Departments.
• Issue, research and close work orders as required.
