Meyer Distributing in Minnesota is seeking an Installation & Assembly Technician to join our growing team. You will install Ultra Legs lift systems on pontoon boats, ensure proper fit and safe operation, and perform minor repairs on-site at marinas and docks.

Ideal candidates have mechanical know-how, enjoy hands-on work, and pride themselves on quality workmanship. This role involves travel, lifting up to 50 pounds, and a typical 4-day, ~40-hour schedule, with mornings start at 6:00 am.

Qualificações

• Mechanical aptitude with confidence using hand and power tools.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.
• Ability to read basic instructions, drawings, and measurements.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in varying weather.
• Marine installation experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Install Ultra Legs lift systems on pontoon boats.
• Ensure lift systems are properly fitted, adjusted, and operating safely.
• Identify issues, perform inspections, and complete minor repairs.
• Safely operate hand tools, power tools, measuring equipment, and testing devices.
• Travel to marinas, docks, and job sites to complete installations and support customers.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain clean, organized work areas.
• Work with supervisors, coworkers, and customers to keep projects running smoothly.
• Help transport materials, meet production goals, and communicate any equipment or safety concerns.
• All other duties assigned.
