The role involves performing industrial hygiene sampling, monitoring for asbestos, lead, and other metals, and supporting regulatory compliance in marine and heavy industrial environments.

You will collect field data, prepare detailed reports, calibrate monitoring equipment, and collaborate with clients and safety personnel to mitigate health hazards.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial hygiene, environmental health, or occupational safety is a plus but not required.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and industrial hygiene sampling techniques is a plus but not required.
• Experience in marine, shipyard, or heavy industrial environments is highly desirable.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct industrial hygiene sampling and monitoring for asbestos, lead and other metals, and mold
• Perform atmosphere testing in marine and industrial settings
• Collect and document field data, prepare detailed reports, and maintain accurate records
• Support compliance with OSHA, USN, and other applicable regulatory standards
• Calibrate, operate, and maintain industrial hygiene monitoring equipment
• Collaborate with clients and safety personnel to identify and mitigate workplace health hazards
