Job summary

Bo-Mac Contractors, Ltd. is seeking skilled Hydrographic Surveyors to support construction projects on active sites in Texas. You will perform hydrographic and topographic surveys, process data with Hypack and AutoCAD Civil 3D, and verify alignment and grade with field crews.

A strong focus on safety and accurate reporting is required. Qualified candidates have 3+ years in hydrographic or marine surveying, proficiency with GPS/RTK and sonar systems, and a degree in Surveying or related field.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of hydrographic or marine surveying experience.
• Proficiency with Hypack, CLAM Vision, AutoCAD Civil 3D and GPS/RTK systems.
• Understanding of dredging operations and volume calculations.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and survey control networks.

Responsibilities

• Conduct hydrographic/topographic surveys using GPS/RTK and sonar systems.
• Perform pre- and post-dredge surveys and analyze project progress.
• Process data with Hypack, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and GIS software.
• Prepare terrain models, contour maps and volume calculations for reports.
