Job summary

Lancesoft in Riviera Beach, FL seeks a Mechanical Technician to support the maintenance, assembly, and repair of mechanical systems, hydraulic assemblies, and material handling equipment. The role requires hands-on experience with crane and forklift operations, hydraulic systems, tube bending, hydraulic hose manufacturing, and torque tools.

Occasional travel up to 3 weeks may be required to support projects, including undersea/underwater systems knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Mechanical maintenance in industrial environment (min 3 years).
• Crane operation experience with overhead/gantry cranes; safety certification preferred.
• Forklift certification with material handling experience.
• Hydraulic systems reading schematics, diagnosing leaks, and system flushes/fills.
• Proficiency with calibrated torque wrenches and torque auditing equipment.
• O-ring and seal knowledge and installation practices.

Responsibilities

• Operate crane equipment per safety protocols and load-handling procedures.
• Move materials with forklifts for assembly, installation, delivery, and waste removal.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain hydraulic systems, pumps, valves, actuators, and piping.
• Perform tube bending and fabrication for hydraulic/pneumatic circuits.
• Manufacture, assemble, inspect, and test hydraulic hoses and assemblies (cutting, crimping, routing, pressure testing).
• Apply torque tools to achieve specified bolt tensions per engineering requirements.
• Read hydraulic schematics, engineering blueprints, work orders, and maintenance manuals.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical assemblies and support equipment.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, LMPI, and CUI handling as applicable.
• Apply knowledge of O-ring types, seal materials, installation procedures, and sealing diagnostics.
