Job summary

The Hinckley Company is seeking a hands-on Marina Technician to support operations at our waterfront facilities in the United States. You will load, unload, and position boats, perform daily equipment inspections, and assist with fueling and dockside services while upholding the company’s standards of craftsmanship and customer experience.

Ideal candidates will have strong mechanical aptitude, excellent communication, and the flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of marina operations.
• Able to perform necessary maintenance functions to keep marina equipment operable.
• Ability to operate a travel lift is a plus.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide a high level of service.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Operate marine forklift to load/unload boats and arrange on trailers.
• Launch and haul customer boats; move boats to/from launch area and secure at docks.
• Perform daily inspection of marina equipment and fuel boats as needed.
• Follow safety rules and regulations and perform other duties as assigned.

• Operations: Operate marine negative forklift. Load and unload new boats from transport trailers. Load and adjust boat trailers. Set boats in three rack levels.
• Boat Handling: Launch and haul customer boats. Move boats to and from launch area. Secure boats to the docks. T
• Maintenance: Perform daily inspection of all marina equipment. Fuel boats and equipment as needed.
• Safety Compliance: Follows prescribed safety rules and regulations. All duties as assigned.
