Job summary

Sea Machines Robotics seeks an experienced Field Application Engineer based in Boston, MA to coordinate the installation and commissioning of our autonomous marine systems on customer vessels worldwide. You will interact with dealers, support teams, and customers to ensure successful deployments and ongoing performance.

You will travel 25–50% to perform hardware/software deployment, troubleshooting, and on-site support, bringing hands-on expertise in marine controls and electronics.

Qualifications

• Must have 7+ years of installation and service experience for complex hardware/software technology products.
• Background in supporting marine systems, controls, PLCs and electronics required.
• Skilled in electrical troubleshooting and use of test equipment.
• Travel willingness to 25-50% of time.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate installation and commissioning of Sea Machines products on customer vessels worldwide with dealer network.
• Monitor product performance in customer fleets.
• Respond to customer support inquiries and provide timely resolution of field issues.
• Maintain regular communications and reporting of field issues to operations and technology teams.
• Contribute input to product documentation including installation, service and user manuals.
