Job summary

W3Global is seeking a Field Service Technician to join our marine equipment team at the Lynwood/Seattle-area service facility. You will install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair cranes, gangways, shells, and hydraulic systems on yachts, ensuring safety and quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and hydraulic troubleshooting skills, be able to diagnose hydraulic and electrical issues in the field, read blueprints, and communicate clearly with customers and team.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical and hydraulic troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to diagnose hydraulic and electrical issues in the field.
• Ability to read blueprints, diagrams and schematics.
• Maintain accurate service documentation and communicate clearly with customers and team.

Responsibilities

• Service and maintain products according to engineering documentation.
• Plan lifting and rigging for removal and installation of yacht equipment.
• Communicate with crane operators using hand signals during lifts.
• Record labor hours, work orders and field reports accurately.
• Interact professionally with customers, team members and internal departments.
• Read blueprints and electrical/hydraulic schematics to troubleshoot.
• Diagnose and resolve hydraulic and electrical issues in the field.
• Use a wide range of mechanical tools and equipment.
• Operate yacht cranes and related lifting equipment.
• Keep work areas clean, safe and organized on site and aboard vessels.
