Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Marine Fiber Optic Technician to install, run, test, and troubleshoot fiber optic cable aboard Navy vessels in the Hampton Roads area. The role is based in a shipyard environment with mandatory OT opportunities and potential travel up to 75%.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5+ years of shipboard electrical/fiber experience, be able to read NAVSEA drawings, and hold OSHA Maritime 10 eligibility with the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of shipboard electrical/fiber experience.
• Experience pulling, installing, terminating, and troubleshooting cable aboard Navy vessels.
• Ability to read NAVSEA drawings.
• OSHA Maritime 10 certification or eligibility.
• Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.
• Comfortable with overtime and travel up to 75%.

Schedule: M-F, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM + OT
