Blakeley BoatWorks, situated on 26 acres, is a full-service shipyard offering new construction and marine repair capabilities. The Equipment Mechanic will join a skilled team responsible for upkeep of diverse equipment, with emphasis on safety and reliability.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with maintenance on telehandlers, air compressors, welding machines, and is proficient in diagnosing electrical and hydraulic systems. Prior knowledge of marine equipment is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in equipment maintenance and repair on telehandlers, manlifts, air compressors and welding machines.
• Experience troubleshooting electrical and hydraulic systems
• Dedication to safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair shipyard equipment to ensure safe operation.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and hydraulic systems as needed.
• Assist with preventive maintenance scheduling and documentation.
