Job summary

Chevron Shipping Company seeks outstanding interns in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, Ocean Engineering, or related disciplines to work on marine projects within the oil and gas sector.

The Hull and Systems Engineering Intern will collaborate with team members to deliver marine engineering and naval architecture support for LNG carriers, crude carriers, product carriers, and floating offshore assets.

Qualifications

• B.S./M.S. in Naval Architecture and/or Marine Engineering or equivalent.
• 0 to 5 years of industry experience.
• Ability to demonstrate The Chevron Way.

Responsibilities

• Work on challenging marine projects ranging from concept selection, design, construction and operation of tanker vessels and offshore facilities.
• Provide marine engineering and naval architecture services for Chevron Shipping Company LNG carriers, crude oil carriers, product carriers, and floating assets (FPSO, FSO, FLNG, FPUs, etc.).
• Interact with major capital project members to support floating offshore projects such as FPSOs, spars, TLPs, and semi-submersibles.
