Job summary

Glosten seeks student interns to assist naval architecture, marine engineering, ocean engineering & analysis, and marine construction teams in Seattle, WA and Providence, RI. Work with a 120-strong team on real maritime projects in a collaborative environment.

Interns work closely with group leads to apply textbook theory to practical challenges, with opportunities in drafting, 3D modeling, and analytical tasks across multiple disciplines.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support ongoing projects with engineering staff on maritime challenges.
• Assist with finite element modeling and structural/sea-keeping analyses.
• Contribute to resistance, propulsion, stability, and climatology studies.
• Participate in mooring, piping design, electrical load analysis, and drafting tasks.
• Assist with 2D drafting and 3D modeling under supervision.
