Ingalls Shipbuilding offers internships which allow students to gain experience in technical or administrative positions and provide the opportunity to possibly gain future full time employment. Some roles may require access to ships and related sites under construction or overhaul, including ladders and varied body positions.

Competenze

• Be at least 18 years of age before the start of the summer intern program (Mid-May)
• Enrolled in a degreed program that supports the company’s business requirements (Engineering, Business, Finance, Information Technology)
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
• Attend a college/university in the fall following the internship
• Successfully complete a criminal background investigation, physical and a hair follicle drug screen
• Work a 40-hour work week for a minimum of 10 weeks during the summer
• An adequate email address is required when applying
