Job summary

Glosten is seeking student interns to work with our marine engineering team in Seattle, WA and Providence, RI. The internship lasts about 10-12 weeks over the summer, starting in June and ending in August, with a 40-hour work week and eligibility for sick time and PTO as per location laws.

You will work closely with group leads and associates to apply classroom knowledge to real maritime projects, including propulsion, life support, 2D drafting, and 3D modeling, in a collaborative, fast-paced

Qualifications

• Strong academic background in marine engineering, naval architecture, mechanical engineering, or electrical engineering.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Motivation to identify and pursue internal and external professional growth opportunities.
• Interest in the marine industry and potential for full-time employment after graduation.

Responsibilities

• Assist with propulsion drivetrain design and other projects as needed.
• Support 2D drafting and 3D modeling work in ongoing projects.
