Job summary

Allen Marine Tours is seeking a skilled Electrician to install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and replace electrical wiring, components, and systems aboard vessels and at the shipyard. You will work with AC/DC systems and marine equipment, ensuring safety and readiness for operations and upgrades.

The role involves reading drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics, performing routine maintenance, and documenting all work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an electrical apprenticeship program or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Experience with marine, industrial, or commercial electrical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
• Comfort with AC/DC electrical systems and diagnostic methods.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Plan electrical wire runs, including routing, labeling, and terminating wiring.
• Install, repair, and maintain electrical components and panels aboard vessels.
• Troubleshoot and repair AC/DC electrical systems and identify faults.
• Inspect systems and document work performed and parts used.
• Assist with electrical upgrades, modifications, and vessel projects.
