Job summary

Elite Workforce LLC is seeking skilled Electricians with 5+ years of Marine Electrician experience for on-site work aboard vessels, barges, and shipyard environments in Louisiana. You will install, test and troubleshoot electrical systems, draw layouts for cableways and cable conduits, and ensure safe, compliant operations.

Candidate must have PPE, own basic hand tools, reliable transportation and willingness to report to work daily.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Marine Electrician or in a shipyard environment.
• Ability to install, maintain and test electrical systems onboard vessels.
• Strong focus on safety, PPE and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation of electrical systems and cables on marine barges, boats and shipyard equipment.
• Layout and install cableways, conduits and cable support systems.
• Terminate and connect cables, set up panels, MCCs and switchboards.
• Test circuits with meters, troubleshoot and commission electrical installations.
• Transport materials and tools to on-site locations and maintain clean work areas.
• Work alone or as part of a team to complete daily tasks safely.
