Zusammenfassung

CETS, based out of Northlake Shipyard, is hiring a Marine Electrician to install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair electrical systems on marine vessels around Puget Sound. You will work with power distribution, control and communications, and panel building, with exposure to PLC and VFDs, and compliance with NEC/NFPA/ABYC/USCG.

The role involves reading schematics, performing diagnostics, and supporting new builds, retrofits and service calls.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years experience with marine electrical systems.
• Proficient with 480V/208/240/120VAC 3PH, 24/12VDC electrical systems.
• Knowledge of NEC, NFPA, ABYC, USCG and best marine practices.
• PLC, automation, instrumentation or UL control panel experience a plus.
• WA Electrical License or Trainee Card is a plus but not required.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to pass background, security, or drug screening.

Aufgaben

• Design and install electrical systems and components.
• Troubleshoot generators, shore power, distribution equipment and auxiliary systems.
• Perform testing, using multimeters, insulation resistance testers, clamp meters.
• Coordinate effectively with vessel owners, captains, port engineers, project managers and other trades.
