Egis Mobile Electric seeks a Sales Engineer to support growth with OEMs and strategic customers across the United States, focusing on marine and mobile DC electrical systems. You will work with boatbuilders, vehicle manufacturers, engineers, installers, distributors, and reps to evaluate electrical architectures, develop practical solutions, and drive business growth.

Qualifications

• Strong practical understanding of marine and mobile DC electrical systems.
• Knowledge of battery systems, circuit protection, relays, contactors, switching, power distribution, charging systems, grounding, conductor sizing, voltage drop, and related electrical principles.
• Ability to read, interpret, develop, and modify electrical schematics and system-level drawings.
• Experience utilizing CAD software to create and modify technical drawings and schematics.
• Demonstrated ability to evaluate unfamiliar electrical-system challenges and develop practical solutions.
• Strong technical aptitude and ability to quickly understand new products, technologies, and applications.
• Ability to communicate effectively with engineers, technical personnel, and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Meet with OEMs and customers to understand electrical systems, applications, challenges, and future requirements.
• Solve application and system-level challenges while developing practical customer-focused solutions.
• Present Egis products, capabilities, and value propositions to customers and engineering teams.
• Build trusted relationships with customers, distributors, installers, and industry partners.
• Support customer projects from initial concept through production implementation.
• Participate in customer meetings, trade shows, distributor events, and other commercial activities.
