Job summary

Tideman Marine, a division of United Plastic Fabricating, in Ocala, FL, seeks qualified technicians for mechanical and electrical installation in a fast-paced boat manufacturing setting. You will wire panels, route circuits, calibrate gauges, and install marine systems to spec.

We require at least 4 years in marine/RV/automotive environments, strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, and the ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 4 years in marine, RV, automotive or similar technical environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced electrical installation, including panel wiring, routing wire drops, buss bars, system troubleshooting, and gauge calibration.
• Install and connect key boat systems, including wiring, fuel, oil, control, exhaust, and water systems in accordance with specifications.
• Fabricate and install custom components (panels, brackets, mounting systems) and align steering systems per OEM guidelines.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics while ensuring all work meets ABYC standards and is completed efficiently in a production environment.
