Job summary

Brunswick Corporation's Boat Group in Edgewater, FL is seeking an Electrical Engineer to research, develop and implement electrical systems for existing boat models. You will design panels, wiring harnesses and electrical layouts using CAD tools, ensuring compliance with ABYC/IOS/CE standards and manufacturability.

You will collaborate with propulsion and project teams, perform load calculations, specify shore power and generator sizing, and drive ECN changes.

Qualifications

Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical experience required.
3-5 years of electrical product design experience with knowledge of manufacturing/production processes.
Experience with CAD tools including AutoCAD, Unigraphics, SolidWorks, Capitol, Catia or Pro E.

Responsibilities

Define requirements and component specifications for electrical panels, wiring harnesses and electrical systems.
Design main, distribution, switch and instrument panels for AC and DC electrical systems.
Update electrical and electronic system designs for manufacturability and production efficiency.
Generate engineering drawings and approve electrical prints for boat release to production.
Provide technical expertise to project groups and support root-cause resolution.
